If AMS happens KLM mayUsually new routes mid June so should be tonight.
Rome or Amsterdam is on the cards I reckon
Which might see us back with E175' s on AMS.Correct however demand and other low cost airlines would want to get involved to.Compete and challenge other opponents
Surely easyjet must have something planned for LBA? launching new routes from other uk airports yet remove 2 routes from LBA, unless PMI and AGP were not making a profit or filing the seats which i find hard to believe? 🤔Great news regarding jet2,
Still nothing from EasyJet, they seemed to have launched a few routes today from around the UK
Just go to Facebook and search 'Jet2'Cant open the link LBAYorkie
I think we have most leisure destinations covered to be honest. I believe the best opportunity for growth in this sector is probably going to be from more frequent services- which seems to be what the airport management want too. Weekly doesnt really cut it. Twice weekly makes a huge difference and thats the minimum we need to each destination. With the addition of Sharm, Hurghada, Tivat, Preveza, Santorini & Enfidha next year which other new beach destinations do we think could be served realistically from LBA? Murcia is an obvious one. Gibraltar, now that border checks have gone between Spain & Gibraltar could open up easier travel times to the Estapona side of the Costa del Sol & Gibraltar itself. Somewhere on the east coast of Italy, Rimini or Bari. I think we’re just about there with Greece tbh. Turkey & Cyprus are covered.
