Having flown to Beauvais myself, it is such a dead slops airport to get through. Mind you that was in 1994 and a bloke had to come and open up the duty free shop every time there was a departure due. No doubt it has changed a lot since then but maybe Ryanair could give it a bash again

Precisely why the A1 needs sorting

Let's see what happens now that they are under franchising next year. Personally I think the A1 needs to be every 15 minutes unless you can supplement it with a separate service through Headingley

You would be surprised how many get on the A2 going to Harrogate. 17 got on a few weeks ago. A3 is always well used on a morning. A lot get on at Otley too.

Excellent report White Heather. What I don't understand is how the A1 bus is profitable but not the other 2. I use both of these regularly and are both are very well used.

Sounds about right. Routes such as the 7, 36, 64, 66, 164, 590 and M4 all fall into this bracket

As I understand it, Tower are taking over Idle depot, the current fleet of buses plus willing drivers under a TUPE arrangement. No one seems to know what is going on with any cross border routes out of West Yorkshire. Time will tell.

Well at least they got their due punishment last night for not travelling in an environmentally friendly manner
