I’ve noticed that all departures out of Edinburgh are departing from taxiway C, has the runway surface deteriorated before the threshold of 24?

If I remember rightly, KLM haven't continually served Manchester as there was a spell in the 90's when they left the Amsterdam route to Air UK which operated the route using Fokker 100s, I cannot remember quite the years it was exactly, maybe someone else knows and would be good enough to tell us?
