TUI 2028 summer, is being released on the 15th of this week. TUI bosses have been holding meetings recently in VARNA, Bulgaria where TUI are expected to expand in the near future. One of the TUI planes has already been named VARNA. Let's hope for some pleasant surprises for CWL.
Sean North you were asked on Pprune if you were Welsh or do you live in Wales, and you did not answer, perhaps if you did you would have a different view of things. Please do not turn this site into one of sarcasm, and bitterness which is very frequent on some other forums.
Another post on Pprune full of dislike about CWL, suggesting that TUI is a failing company, and passenger services are a lost cause , also talk of a fifth TUI based aircraft is hilarious. I wonder if it is just a dislike of it being a publicly owned airport, or a dislike of Welsh people.
Scathing post on Pprune about CWL, stating a list of 6 items where CWL management had failed in the past, and that they were an insult to the management capabilities of Basil Fawlty. Perhaps he is not aware that the management team at CWL, has changed considerately in recent times, and the...
Two separate contributors on Facebook, one with information from a member of staff at CWL, and the other from an employee of TUI, have stated that TUI is to base a fifth aircraft at CWL next summer. Make of it what you will, if there is any truth in this information, I would think they must be...
Quite a heated discussion on Dried Plum over the success of the Toronto route, with one poster calling the figures pathetic, as I don't contribute on there I can't get involved, but some people don't seem to be giving the route a chance, especially when it involves CWL.
Yes that's correct, I remember all the BRS Easyjet flights were being operated out of CWL for a few days, after a couple of their planes skidded on the runway at BRS.
Three diversions into CWL this evening, some kind of emergency at BRS with all flights cancelled. Loganair from Jersey and Aberdeen, and Aer Lingus Regional from Cork maybe more to come.
TUI en route to CWL, BRS diversion, in from Zante.
Sorry I couldn't get back earlier Jerry, the only link I have is (www.facebook.com/***feed/). I am unable to acces X (twitter). That is why I summarised the entry by Dai Sadler on facebook. Perhaps the other members who have read the post on facebook could help you further.
Westjet has just annonced on X, and also reported on Cardiff Airport group page of Facebook, that the Toronto - CWL route is performing significantly above expectations, with growing passenger demand, and growing interest on both sides of the Atlantic
