5 weekly A321 compared to 3 weekly 787 would nearly double the amount of business class seats on offer while offering not many more economy seats. I don’t think that would be a good match for the BHX demographic.

because all the selling classes are zeroed out. for the moment SV is not selling anything on these flights - so it's not clear whether they would actually operate.
 
This seems like a recent change. they were definitely on sale and a few weeks back when i checked... seems something is being updated so hope they do return....
 
The extra MAN flights have been known about for quite a while now
 
As I say I have known about them for several months now and are an extra and start 2nd January
