Potentially doing the same strategy as Swiss with Zurich and passing it to thier leisure airline.
 
Edelweiss and now Discover are primarily catering for tourists travelling to Bristol, rather than outbound demand.

Yeah looking at the time above would be awful for connections. But I get why they want to focus on outbound just wish we had another proper network carrier more then klm.

New airline to connect Bristol to European city

Bristol Airport is excited to announce Discover Airlines, part of Lufthansa Group, will be operating a twice weekly service to Frankfurt, Germany from May 2027.

News article from Bristol Airport not sure what he is referring to as increased Swiss capacity through there is nothing new at all.
