On a slightly less positive note, still no LIG or GRO showing on FR website ex LBA for S27.

GRO is always late. It was 6X weekly at peak this summer with decent loads (not the best, but some of the flight times were AWFUL)Not so sure. Are they basing an extra aircraft or just dropping existing routes or decreasing frequency on existing routes?

Thats what I asked. Sounds like these are being accommodated within the existing 3 aircraftDoes this mean a 4th based aircraft? And more to come?
Whats it like around there? Finally a destination (BRI) from LBA that floats Mrs Finger and I's boat
So from our perspective:Whats it like around there?
So from our perspective:
It's Italy
It's a non tourist hotspot
Easy to get to less unspoilt areas
Great coastal road
Ticks so many boxes for us - other than the current timings
I like your optimism. At least with the terminal REGEN getting nearer to completetion the airport will be in a better position to get new carriers onboard.Basically - your not volume British abroad destinations. Perfect for those who hate been sat around the Brits on holiday asking for "chips and chicken nuggets" in the middle of Italy.
With these new flights mostly on 800 or Max aircraft I'm sure it makes up for the loss of easyJet to an extent. Coupled with growth from Jet2 on new destinations (and retirement of 300 with 800 replacing) one suspects that LBA will maintain the same passenger throughput in 2027 as it did in 2026.
