Surprise surprise, i will say no more! 😕

Might only be one basket needed the way things are going 🤣🤮

Gosh i can see 2 tui planes on the tarmac, think im going the faint 😂 In your 2nd image because the new terminal is central down the apron it would be posible to have a pier extending outwards, not too far out due to the location of the runway but long enough to accomadate 3 or 4 gates on each...

That nostalgic announcement on look north together with endless advertisement which i can still remember transformed our little airport on the hill with a huge increase in pax, jet2 is now one of the largest airlines in the uk. I do agree with most you mention but im just saying With the correct...

Im fully aware that wizz have their own plans and visions for the future but in my opinion i feel LBA management should be lets say more in bed with wizz , with the correct marketing ( should that ever happen at LBA) a huge population and no interference from that certain airport over the hill...

Well i hope your correct wh reg the other carriers, so once regen is finished the airlines hopefully will be queuing up to fly from LBA, we shall see, but wow its certainly not been the best year for the airport.

And which airline is operating these 9 new routes, jet2 of course! Yet from all other carriers nothing and no interest in the airport, very Frustrating! 😕

With airlines pulling out, reducing services and no new airlines and routes secured for quite literally years now pressure may be happening at the top within management and the marketing team esp with new owners AENA onboard. I can certainly think of a few members on here that probably could do...

Fully agree with your comment regs the BFS route, something is clearly not right with this easyjet decision, its one of LBAs key domestic routes due to been an over water route and to a degree serves a different type of pax with no doubt a reg pax base. The route also in a way competes against...

Bet the new owners are thinking "what is this place we have purchased!" Seriously though BFS is getting the chop too, absolutely 100% there is something going off at lba, management or marketing not upto scratch? literally half our carriers have said bye or reducing ops this year is just...

Plain white airbus a320 just passed over me in kirkstall into LBA and due to land in quite a bad rain, thunder storm? Departed cork, any info?

Was thinking the same, what problems do seem to keep occuring with these 300s? Minor issues or more serious?

Plenty of others are arriving by dinghy, V.Concerning!

Leeds utd are playing a friendly against RB leipzig on sat, are we due anything interesting into LBA?

There is only one thing to blame, the thing it landed on (only joking members)🤣 my guess is a hard landing due to tricky TDZ, bounced then came down on nose wheel or both nose and main wheels at the same time?

Due to our TDZ! 🤣😁

Thanks for the info reg the eclipse next year, will bare that in mind , might actually book flights out to spain to see it!

Flying 31st aug - 11th sept lba-alc , and just booked a long wkend with a mate down to ALC 16th-21st oct , £176 all in for the 2 of us rtn inc seat selection ! Prices have actually dropped over the last week or so.

On a positive note when i was away in spain last week i got chatting to my ex pat neighbours over there who just happened to use LBA 4 weeks back, the last time they used the airport was well before the extension was open. They were saying to me how much the airports changed and how impressed...

Just in horsforth area now, missed approach by the jet2 from catania!
