Interesting about the taxiway back in 2003 I chartered the An124 for a job I hard at the time with 95 Tonnes of cargo onboard. We did not have any problems, as far as I know the124 is bigger and heavier than the 380, as far parking we parked it on the old runway.

Plus if they get this then people will travel from other area just to get the pre clearance or even come in...
EK already have a good proportion of this market out of GLA and unless it was a direct flight I think TK would struggle, and take business away from EDI. Also it could start a price war where no one wins.
No they only served Glasgow. Now with EK at GLA and QR and TK at EDI they route is pretty well covered. I can’t see they will ever be a direct flight unless it is a low cost airline
