Basically - your not volume British abroad destinations. Perfect for those who hate been sat around the Brits on holiday asking for "chips and chicken nuggets" in the middle of Italy.
With these new flights mostly on 800 or Max aircraft I'm sure it makes up for the loss of easyJet to an extent...
As well as increased routes - especially with Jet2.
There expansion into Egypt in the winter months will assist with revenue particularly during those months.
He can. But then how restrictive will it be. How much will be background blurred. It’ll be very carefully constructed pics - thus not giving the true experience.
Having been for a walk around the “new area” from check in hall a to b, my minor criticism is the lack of window / natural light.
Given the the nature of security - you won't get them.
What you will get however is probably a picture outside of the security zone and then when leaving.
I would suspect the newer aircraft will be mandated with jet2 standards to be one of their newer aircraft (the short field package ones) - which allow for longer routes such as Egypt from LBA. As @aviation has said don't get excited as the TUI 737-800NG's never struggled.
And I would imagine in...
The issue you have is a couple of fold - depending on destination.
A) - Leeds.
The most direct route is either via Kirkstall route or down pool bank and into Leeds via A65 / Headingley. Neither of those options are best given Kirkstall & Headingley can be a nightmare in rush hour traffic...
It seems I'm wrong. And Jet2 have literally just gone to the teams at LBA "get rid of anything you can asap" as flight radar seems to have lit up with a lot of flights.
It's tongue n cheek given they've responded with 4 sanctions to our sanctions today. Andrew Neil responded with "and the 5th...
Having quickly looked at flight radar - Jersey has now departed.
A lot of the flight radar departures are no estimating 19:00 ish for those going somewhere long with the exception of Heraklion which still shows 22:00. The shorter ones (Palma Ibiza) show 22:00. Be fun to watch this evening...
Who are the 63 people? And have these 63 people got pork for brains?
Honestly you cannot educate pork and it feels you cannot educate people. The airport want to actively encourage quieter aircraft and people are against it. All because some **** at the anti airport, anti life, anti economic...
I think I need to make it a little clearer. They are going to review it but they seemed positive. All the comments however from local residents did say that they were in support. Or majority anyway. The annoying thing is this doesnt reflect the support on the portal.
How has this happened? There was a very large gap and it appears to have now been overtaken.
I just do not get how for example Jet2, Ryanair & LBA are not encouraging there staff to get onto the portal and give it their support. I saw a lot of comments from the west park councillors who were...
Supported.
I did log on and unfortunately 2 more objections.
Obvs - OBVS. Bloody idiots in galba.
I hope the inbred morons do not have any legal power. And a judge kicks them out anyway in support of recent UK aviation decisions.
Only lower to gain market share. Once they gained some market share easyJet would also put the prices up. It is inevitable.
New bases or new routes for whichever airline, always means lower prices. Look at Jet2 in London Gatwick.
They must account for the losses as part of the longer term...
