SunExpress adding weekly winter 23/24 flights to Antalya. Connections onwards to the likes of Beirut available

[Severn]

Yesterday saw the first Sun Express flight operating from BRS to AYT using a 737-800 aircraft.
The route operates twice weekly (Wed and Sun) until late May when it increases to three times a week (Wed, Fri, Sun) for the summer season.
Corendon starts twice weekly (Wed and Sat) starting Sat 1st April. Both aircraft will be on the ground at the same time on Wednesdays

Looks like they've had quite the cull of what was originally on offer - currently sitting at 4 rotations in November, 3 in December, 1 in January, 3 in February and 5 in March.

[Red Flyer]

I’m reliably informed that for S24 SXS will increase capacity significantly at BRS & will be on sale at the higher frequency shortly.

SunExpress goes five weekly from May 2024

SunExpress has added a sixth weekly Antalya for peak summer 2025

[lbaspotter]

Antalya - Bristol now 5x weekly for summer 2026 operating Mon, Tue, Wed, Fri & Sat.

Is that a reduction for Sun Express?

No that’s the original released schedule - they added a peak summer Sunday for a few weeks last summer but the 5 weekly is the normal schedule

[t.ash.27]

Flights reduce to 2 weekly from June 8th - June 26th

Doesn’t look like Sun Express are returning next summer with the last flight being the 6th Jan.

[Marko1]

Is that confirmed? The other routes have been on sale for a while now but not Bristol. Be a massive loss of capacity if they have

Nothing on sale. Sean M posted something earlier stating their S27 UK routes and BRS isn’t listed. I think they’ve been down to 3 or so flights a week recently? Demand has fallen away for Antalya/Dalaman so not a massive surprise bearing in mind existing EasyJet, Jet 2 and TUI capacity on those routes.

[Marko1]

If they have gone and Pegasus not on sale that will be a big blow tbh.
