One return flight on Monday 3rd August. That's really good to see.
Wasn't there also 2 flights cancelled that month because of a strike?
You are indeed correct, which I didn't account for. That's really good to see.

Even 87% is really good. You are indeed correct, which I didn't account for.
That actually puts the LF at 92.2%!
Now next year is on sale hopefully may and june will see better uptake.Even 87% is really good.
Even so, those with superior knowledge of these things will undoubtably claim 87% or even 92.2% as "pathetic" by whatever countermeasure they choose LOL.Even 87% is really good.
Wow!You are indeed correct, which I didn't account for.

True 😆Even so, those with superior knowledge of these things will undoubtably claim 87% or even 92.2% as "pathetic" by whatever countermeasure they choose LOL.
Wow!
LOL - how could we forget - its all about the yields!!!True 😆
Obviously we don't know the yields people will scream subsidy but WestJet must be happy to continue it for 2027.
I think because Cardiff is government owned people just see whatever they do to attract airlines as subsidy even if it's pretty standard operating for other airports. There's this idea Cardiff wouldn't do such deals if it wasn't government owned. Then there are those who cannot quite understand the difference between a "subsidy" and the direct and indirect layers of negotiation and support involved with any commercial deal between an airline and an airport.
Remember as well that WestJet would've been potentially looking for new destinations as well. It's likely that there was a decent amount of traffic to and from Wales as a base but they'll want to attract new passengers as well.It would be interesting to know where YYZ was on the list in terms of most popular unserved destinations (or served 1 stop). It must of been up there for west jet to think there was a market.
