Use this prefix for new threads for Cardiff Airport
I believe we'll see them all summer.
 
So according to a post on Facebook it appears Cardiff will be E175 all winter. That's a capacity cut which is really disappointing considering they've added flights at other airports. I do wonder if the relationship isn't good between KLM and the airport as they don't seem to be expanding like Ryanair and TUI are.
 
It’s more or less the same over at Bristol - lot of e175s

Looking at FR24 and the morning flights seem to be mostly green while the afternoon ones are a bit more mixed
 
October time.

Had an email today as well from KLM, £60.00 off £170 fare. KLM and Air France do that every so often. And birthday code as well, whenever your birthday is...

It was suspended in April 2024 as a "temporary measure" for "operational reasons". KLM did state at the time that the 3rd rotation would return in October 2024 and seats for October onwards did remain on sale for some months until they were removed around mid-summer.

The actual reason was clear to many - the airframes and crew released by the overnight stopover were being used to support greater demand elsewhere at the time of the shortages. We've since seen Eastern's additional capacity come and go, German Airways still running services, the launch of the daily service from Exeter and additions and removals elsewhere but no change for Cardiff.

Think its fair to say its not coming back any time soon unfortunately.

With KLM Cityhopper looking to go all E295 and phase out the E175s and E190s sadly probably can forget it returning for a very long time if ever.
