Not sure my blood pressure is up to it. Far too high already! There are quite a few new documents that have been uploaded to the planning portal today for those wanting a read!
Can you summarise so we don't have to ?There are quite a few new documents that have been uploaded to the planning portal today for those wanting a read!
Not really as there are quite a few docs and they are all quite long…….Most interesting to read first is LBAs response to the various comments received todate on their application. Can you summarise so we don't have to ?
So it has. Probably the result of the various organisations studying the application, and wishing to submit comments but failing to meet the two previous deadlines. From the portal it appears the consultation. period previously shown as closed has now been reopened and extended to 6 November. Excuse me whilst I close the door and shoot myself!
This is ridiculous, how many times can it be extended? I wonder if the airport is aware. So it has. Probably the result of the various organisations studying the application, and wishing to submit comments but failing to meet the two previous deadlines.
Some of the queries raised, including by Bradford Council, demonstrate a real lack of understanding as to how aviation works. I have read most, but not all, of the recent response by the LBA consultant, which seeks to address all these comments. It must be said though that most are seeking clarification rather than objecting.
Doesn't really matter as they are not making any decision before January. This is ridiculous, how many times can it be extended? I wonder if the airport is aware.
I can't bare it. LCC needs some different political colours running the place, preferably of none green colours. They are slowly but surely destroying the city bit by bit. From the portal it appears the consultation. period previously shown as closed has now been reopened and extended to 6 November. Well if folk keep on voting for them, that isn't going to happen. Leeds pays the penalty for the large student population, many of whom vote Green. No coincidence that the anti airport comments accelerated rapidly just as the students arrived back.I can't bare it.
