Also suggests the B738 f/t NCL wasn't full!!!!
Or it was and they had to remove some passengers and fly them back a different day or flight. Not everything is as black & white as we’d think.

It’s planning to spend the the night at NCL if it gets in. Positions back tomorrow morning about 09:40Gusts up to 43 mph at LBA around the time of return, around the same at Newcastle but as the night/early morning wears on 60+ mph gusts in both places so not looking good if its return is delayed.
As one 733 was idle today it may be that all 7 are not needed given we are approaching the end of the season. It’s planning to spend the the night at NCL if it gets in. Positions back tomorrow morning about 09:40
Another 300 G-GDFL is due back tonight from Glasgow assuming all goes to plan. Been on abit of an adventure that one this week.As one 733 was idle today it may be that all 7 are not needed given we are approaching the end of the season.
As someone who deals with mental illness, this sort of comment just isn’t on. Mental illness isn’t something to be thrown around, and the consequences of it are hardly worth talking about on a public forum. Your earlier comments on ADHD which have wisely since been removed were in rather poor taste as well"Climate change presents the biggest long-term risk. Flights are major emitters of greenhouse gases, and likely to come under increasing regulation to mitigate or neutralise the risk. The Mediterranean is also getting hotter. As yet, that does not seem to have diminished our appetite for holidays there, but it may"
Climate change is BS let's face it. I've said it once I'll repeat myself - it's a mechanism to raise tax hidden behind some very clever well thought out propaganda. All devised by the evil UN, the even more evil European Union and the useless puppets in government. It's a new cult. A mental illness.
Looking after the climate and doing all we can is a different matter to climate change BS.
And don't know about anyone but 30-35 degree in the med on a sunbed. Yes please. Away from this horrific sh*t hole of a country. I don't see appetite going away I see, as usual, changes to booking patterns happening. As is always case. Booking patterns change consistently.
Maybe the real threat isn't Climate Change but a useless socialist government after more tax of the working people, companies, aviation to subsidise it's every growing useless civll service wage bill and the largest welfare bill that is out of control and continuing ti grow.

You dont hold back with your words sherburn but thats what i love about your posts 😃 and the best bit, all what you post is so true! And yes what a s******* of a country the uk has now become."Climate change presents the biggest long-term risk. Not sure how many were bumped off the flight but him and his wife got a text on Sunday night telling them of the flight change, he didn't mind in the slightest.Interesting.
I’m surprised they are doing that. Surely that means some people arrive more than 3 hours late and could claim ec261!
They usually try to keep the disruption to one flight rather than knocking it on to another!
Maybe because they had 2 flights that's day and both were not full….no idea but that's what happened to him.I was interested to see that contrary to what they normally do Jet2 operated today's rescue flights inbound only with empty outbounds to Jerez, Faro, Malaga and Palma, with Naples utilising a DAT A320. There will doubtless be a reason for this but it seems rather wasteful of resources at first glance
