Having moved to in particular the cruise industry but to an extent packages its all about the critical 'balance due' date and low deposits mean cancellations in some cases which can free up late availability space - some cruise lines have backed away from this as it upsets too many regulars but...

So they are offering MAN as an alternative or deposit refund. The eye watering part is the differential to swap to Jet2 holidays! Gosh yields must have been thin.

Maybe also the availability of aircraft and the preference for late evenings have caused them to cut to what they can deliver as opposed to what is optimistic - there will have been damage to Wizz locally because of the delays and diverts.....
