Do we know why it was cancelled?
I saw this week that the NEOs are having engine problems,.and more frequent maintenance to them. This is leaving them short of aircraft, and it said that they would have to cancel some flights across their network. It may be the reason. There again, it might be something else.

The problems are with the Pratt & Whitney GTF engines. Jet2 have opted for the CFM LEAP engines in their neo’s (the 737’s have earlier CFM power plants) so hopefully these will prove less problematic, although some problems have been reported. Seems these cutting edge, super efficient engines are proving quite temperamental.

Lauda Europe Airbus 320 9H-LOQ is enroute from Zadar and will soon make her mid afternoon first LBA visit.

A further planned first LBA visit for later will be Wizz Air Malta Airbus 321 Neo 9H-WDI operating the Bucharest Otopeni rotation.

Sticking so much new tech onto engines to make them squeaky clean and quiet perhaps means more things can go wrong?

Looks like a Hawk is making an approach on 14. ZB132.

Heads Up!

Flying is the second greatest thrill known to man.... Landing is the first!
i must be a lunatic. Friday 25th Sept will see me doing a daytrip that involves me leaving my flat in Manchester at 1am and not getting back home until after midnight. All because I'm doing a Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands trip.... out of Glasgow
For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
