Hay I really like those and I was surprised you'd chosen to put them into the scrapbook gallery corner. The Globemaster looks so atmospheric and the Air France looks sharp behind those intentionally out of focus leaves.

Yeah I thought about the regular gallery but wasn't quite sure how people would like them as they're not your conventional type of aircraft photo so opted for the scrapbook instead.

This is one of my favourite photo's, Air India 787 VT-AND, absolutely fantastic.

Point taken about the galleries. I might change the name of the scrapbook gallery because it gives the impression the images aren't all that good, when in many cases they are. I agree on the above picture it's a beautiful picture taken at just the right time before it's too dark to capture all the detail.

Hi Ray, do you think it will be ok for me to post the above Photo on another website i go on about Aviation ????

It's available to share on Flickr so I imagine if you give full credit and a link to the site it should be OK. You could always contact the taker through Flickr just to be sure.

Is the view walking down from the Marston Green station? I can't believe I was so close to views like that but I just didn't go far enough.

Yeah this was taken from the top of the hill as the footpath starts to descend, a great spot for 15 departures but useless for 33 arrivals.

I can't believe it either, another 2-3 mins walk round the corner and you'd have been at the end of the runway :s_sad

As ever they're all great pictures Ray Finkle, especially the first where you get the moving sensation with the buildings slightly out of focus yet the aircraft is pin-sharp, great picture!

Heads Up!

i must be a lunatic. Friday 25th Sept will see me doing a daytrip that involves me leaving my flat in Manchester at 1am and not getting back home until after midnight. All because I'm doing a Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands trip.... out of Glasgow
For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
