One thing I noticed the crew did not apply any rudder which is absolutely normal on landing in those conditions and even more so when heading towards the grass. Obviously we don't know the reasons but the subsequent AAIB investigation should tell all.

interesting that the aircraft in question G-JZHE departed BHX a few hours again for Stansted, and is just about to depart to Ibiza, so can't have substained any damage, I do wonder if there was a hydraulics failure on landing, hence the reason is took ages for it to be towed from the taxiway to the stand?

Well that's a quick return to service seems to rule out any significant equipment failure to me but that's pure speculation !
