From 7th October Riga flights go to Wizz UK for the Winter.

That’s good. I was wondering if it was UK that would be doing the flights as Wizz have closed the RIX base.

Looks like Wizz planning on expanding from their DSA base. They have plans for 1.5 million seats for next summer. That’s more than the total of passengers at DSA in 2019! I wonder with this if any new routes will be announced or/if any expansion on current routes they serve. One to keep an eye on. 😉

Seems like old news revisited at present, the story points to growth in the future I can't see new routes or rotations at present

Welcome to wizz HQ. They pulled many routes it seems. I think DSA got lucky on this occasion compared to other airports. Hopefully it might reinstated again.

During Summer 22 Doncaster/Sheffield should see 24 routes operating. This does not include winter only flights.

Antalya has a range of golfing resorts/hotels. Dalaman doesn't and is probably colder then Antalya. The amount of resorts around Dalaman will probably be also closed - as it's not worth been open.
