Aurigny to Guernsey is shown amongst the departures tomorrow on the BRS website. I believe that if it operates it will be the first Aurigny flight from the airport since near the beginning of the pandemic earlier this year.
It did operate (so did Blue Islands to JER despite that island's new restrictions to try to combat a virus surge).

Summer 2021

Looking on the Aurigny website the BRS-GCI route is shown as just 4 x weekly next summer: Mon, Wed, Fri and Sun. Although in winter it usually drops to 4 x weekly it's been at least once-daily in summer for many years.

I looked after seeing the LBA-GCI route had dropped to 2 x weekly next summer although I don't think it's ever been daily. BHX-GCI also looks to have the same frequency as BRS-GCI next summer.

Aurigny operated from BRS on 4 December 2020 according to the BRS website arrivals/departure pages, the first time in ages, but I haven't seen it on the board since.

Likewise just seen the 1 flight on the boards. I do wonder if it was a trial flight to see how many would book to fly,or they had a event going on in GCI and they ran it to get a few more people there. My last sentance was not thought out as most things every where is not open and i dont knw what the tier is out on the channel islands. I dont know what the pax loadings were like either way.

Hop over to Guernsey with Aurigny
We’re delighted to welcome back regular direct flights from Bristol to Guernsey with Aurigny from 16th July.

From activities on land and sea to relaxing on the beach, the Islands of Guernsey have it all. And Guernsey is now welcoming back visitors from the UK who are 14 days post double vaccination, with no restrictions.

Book before August and you're covered by Aurigny Assurance, meaning you can change or cancel a booking in return for a credit voucher for whatever reason up to 2 days in advance.*

I believe they are also restarting LBA flights on the same day to.

Summer 2022

Timetables now released. It seems that BRS-GCI will be 6 x weekly next summer - no flights on Wednesdays. I can't remember Aurigny's BRS-GCI being anything less than daily in summer for many years, sometimes 8/9 x weekly with extra flights at weekends in peak summer.

Exeter Airport, never an Aurigny route before Flybe ceased to operate, is showing 7 x weekly - no Saturday flights but 2 flights on Wednesdays. It would appear that one of them might be the service that has operated to BRS in the past although the timings of the Wednesday Exeter flights don't coincide with the previous Wednesday timings of the BRS flight.

Heads Up!

i must be a lunatic. Friday 25th Sept will see me doing a daytrip that involves me leaving my flat in Manchester at 1am and not getting back home until after midnight. All because I'm doing a Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands trip.... out of Glasgow
For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
