Hainan Airlines on Thursday (08MAR18) opened reservation for its planned Changsha – London Heathrow service, scheduled to commence on 23MAR18. Initially service operates 3 times a week with Boeing 787-8, switching to -9 from 01SEP18.

Which won't be helped by passenger confidence now this is in the public domain. Last week it seemed the airline would escape most of the woes of the HNA group.

So Haikou is an add on to the existing Changsta route then.

Interesting that many of the Chinese airline services are now in the evening to LHR.
