@Seasider Spot on, but will the political system allow it? As soon as any government tries to back growth, local NIMBYism and planning inspectorate appeals kick in. We end up spending 15 years and millions on public inquiries just to add a few hundred meters of concrete. The ambition is right, but the delivery mechanism in this country is broken.
