Given the the nature of security - you won't get them.

What you will get however is probably a picture outside of the security zone and then when leaving.

"The Airport Manager" aka the CEO can authorise images taken within the security area. So there's no reason why the airport can't share some footage of inside the area. They will however want to avoid showing any security processes.

Footage taken within the old security area was shared on numerous occasions.

He can. But then how restrictive will it be. How much will be background blurred. It’ll be very carefully constructed pics - thus not giving the true experience.

Having been for a walk around the “new area” from check in hall a to b, my minor criticism is the lack of window / natural light.

I flagged this a few weeks ago. There is absolutely no reason why some natural light couldn't have been built into the design through the west facing wall, even if it was just privacy glass.

The majority of the wall that backs onto old stand 3 towards stand 5 has been kitted up with masses of ducting. I dont know if that would have any impact on what is permitted with building regulations but I don't think there was much of it left to put any viable windows in.
I think there are also some rooms to the back of that wall in the new CSZ.

There is. It would change the appearance of the building which might then require planning approval.

It looks good, but how does it compare to the old one? - I know it's larger, but aesthetically, is it an improvement??

I haven't used the airport for a while and have forgotten what the old security area was like.

6 people able to use each scanner at once - that’s better than most places I’ve been to. I guess that means 30 people can be moved on through at the same time

you can have a the lanes in the world but if not open doesn’t make any difference. If you had to use this airport every day you would realise light years behind other places

My Mrs used LBA yesterday to fly EZY to Belfast, dropped off at 7.30 carry on luggage only for 9am departure, but as always the plane lands on time but is always late leaving on Mondays! 09.31 departure, only just made it to the gate before it closed and she was called forward in the security queue. Not got full fact yet but said it was horrendous

In the last couple of days, the new Monty's Diner, WHSmith's, security & duty-free areas have all been completed and are now open to the public.

So what is the next part of the jigsaw to be filled in? - What can we look forward to next???

I belive their is, in fact you can see a lift in the background of one of the pictures.

I understood there are two escalators, and I think two lifts (not certain) plus stairs.
