easyJet has today announced new routes to Milan and Tivat from Birmingham

Flights to Milan Malpensa will start on 29 March 2027 ahead of the peak summer season, with departures twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

easyJet is the only carrier currently offering a direct route between Birmingham Airport and Milan Malpensa.

Milan provides the perfect gateway to northern Italy, giving holidaymakers the chance to discover the stylish city as well as the picturesque towns, spectacular scenery and lakeside charm of Lake Como.

easyJet has also announced a brand new route from Birmingham to Montenegro with flights launching to Tivat route from 3 May 2027, departing on Mondays and Thursdays.

Nestled on Montenegro’s spectacular Bay of Kotor, Tivat offers the perfect gateway to the country’s stunning Adriatic coastline, combining picturesque beaches, breathtaking mountain scenery and a stylish waterfront, as well as easy access to the historic town of Kotor.

Package holidays can be booked to both destinations with easyJet holidays, inclusive of flights and hotel, plus 23kg luggage and transfers on Tivat beach breaks.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet’s UK Country Manager, said:

“We are excited to announce two brand-new routes and package holidays from Birmingham Airport to Italy and Montenegro, providing customers with even more choice for their next summer break. We remain focused on offering even more flying to a range of destinations, always aiming to make travel easy.”

Matt Hazelwood, Chief Commercial Officer at Birmingham Airport, said:

“We’re always pleased to see new routes added to our 2027 summer flying programme, giving passengers even more choice for their getaways from their local airport. Milan is a great choice for business trips or a city break, with famous food, fashion and culture all within easy reach. Tivat is ideal for slowing down and taking in its world-class marina and stunning scenery. With tickets now on sale, I’m sure we’ll be seeing plenty of interest from Midland’s passengers eager to book their flights.”

For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
