easyJet, Bristol’s largest short-haul airline, has today announced two new routes are on sale from Bristol Airport for next summer.

The airline will launch a new connection between Bristol and Bulgaria, with a new route to Burgas launching on 28 May 2027 which will operate twice a week on Mondays and Fridays.

Burgas offers holidaymakers an affordable and sun-soaked escape on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, with sandy beaches, a picturesque seafront and easy access to some of the region’s popular coastal destinations.

The airline will also launch a new route from Bristol to Montpellier on 1 July 2027 which will operate twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.

easyJet will be the only airline offering flights on this route, providing travellers in the South West with more choice and a convenient connection to southern France.

Montpellier offers the perfect combination of city and coast, with charming medieval streets, bustling squares, Mediterranean cuisine and beaches nearby, making it an ideal destination for a sunshine-filled French getaway.

Package holidays are available to both destinations with easyJet holidays, including flights and hotel, along with 23kg luggage and transfers to Burgas beach breaks.

Kevin Doyle, easyJet's UK Country Manager, said:

"18 new routes for summer 2027 is fantastic news with two more from Bristol Airport showing our commitment to providing customers in the South West with more choice from their local airport.

"We’re pleased to offer the only direct connection between Bristol and Montpellier providing more connections to southern France for next summer aswell as a new route and packages to Burgas in Bulgaria which a popular and affordable summer hot spot.”

“Whether customers are planning a summer beach holiday, a city break or a chance to explore somewhere new, there's never been a better time to book a flight or package holiday with easyJet."

Heads Up!

i must be a lunatic. Friday 25th Sept will see me doing a daytrip that involves me leaving my flat in Manchester at 1am and not getting back home until after midnight. All because I'm doing a Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands trip.... out of Glasgow
For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
