The lowest seem to be Greek islands, which seems odd. The Belfast International and Paris figures make you wonder why Easyjet gave given up on them. Overall though, thise a figures to make DSA fanatics cry.
seriously getting boring shoehorning DSA into every sentence you write.

Something of an exaggeration! However, I am not going to apologise to you given the pathetic comments regularly coming from DSA fans such as 'hopefully DSA reopening will do us all a favour and get LBA shut down' which appeared this week. If you think that such comments are defensible then fine, I don't.

As per usual when looking at the CAA data there is a difference. Table 9 gives the figure quoted earlier by @Seasider, whilst using Table 12.1 and 12.3 - to obtain the split between International and Domestic traffic - you end up with the figures in my table. Both appear to be correct.

Having considered your complaint further, and taken it more seriously, I have gone back through all my posts since August 27th. In thar time I have made 176 posts on the LBA forum, and referred to DSA twice. Hardly makes your post justified or even sensible? Unless of course you consider posting about DSA on the DSA thread is something you don't approve of either?

What does a few good pax figures at LBA have to do with Doncaster? You’re complaining about the DSA crew but seem to be just as bad.

Sorry but I am not one saying DSA should be shut down. It already is. You need to stop making accusations that are complete fiction. Don't claim that I shoehorn DSA into every sentence I write when that is blatantly untrue. 2 posts in 176! Others have mentioned DSA too. Have you tried to police their comments too? Thought not.

I and many others are sick to death of pro DSA trolls taking every opportunity to moan about LBA, complaining it's a shambles, suggesting DSA should replace it. Sod the thousands of jobs and livelihoods but you seem to think nobody can comment back?

Where did I say you were saying that DSA should be shut down? I’m simply pointing out the hypocrisy in your complaint that the DSA supporters are obsessed. Dont take it so personally - that goes for multiple members of this board - it’s very tiresome reading it. All the best.

Thanks for compiling the figures from the Civil Aviation Authority each month which I look for to seeng every month to compare not only our airports performance but that against similar UK airports that compete with us. One question if I my, do the Domestic Terminal Passenger numbers include those travelling to Jersey and Guernsey during the summer operations or are they classed in the International Passenger numbers as both Islands are not part of the United Kingdom but as a Crown dependant. Same could be said for Eire being part of the EU. Thank you.

Having just had a quick read of your previous posts it seems to me that this at best pot calling the kettle! I’d suggest you drop this and revert back to factual posts rather then calling out other members in particular a member who contributes considered options and makes a personal effort to communicate with LBA and attend ACC on behalf of the members of this forum…….
If it’s a problem to you maybe just scroll past eh?

You’re right, I apologise to White Heather for singling her out… it isn’t just her clearly.

I just simply urge certain members of this board to get off the high horse when moaning about DSA, regardless of the merit of their own campaign… From a neutral observer that wants to see both airports thrive 🤷‍♂️

Thank you, but I think you are missing the point. My comments are not aimed at DSA per se.

When DSA was open, I wasn't going on line demanding it be shut down, despite the fact I didn't think it was ever needed or likely to be successful. And quite honestly, I don't see it as anything more now than a huge vanity project, likely to waste massive amounts of public funding. And yes, I object to the fact that FlyDoncaster plans to use public funds to try and divert airlines and passengers from LBA, thus removing jobs and investment here. Were it private funding, and fair competition, then fair enough. But it isn't.

There is clearly a campaign among the DSA fraternity to undermine, and criticise LBA at every opportunity. There are regular comments suggesting LBA should close; that Jet2 should relocate to DSA; that airlines leaving LBA are relocating to DSA, with resultant gloating. Nobody stops to think about the impact on jobs here, or on the economy here, or how LBA staff feel when they are subjected to constant criticism. The last thing these people want to see is LBA doing well, or increasing it's passengers even though we are in the middle of a major refurbishment. No, what they want, and openly say on social media, is LBA to go backwards with DSA to benefit as a result.

So my two (out of 176) comments, are aimed at the social media keyboard warriors who instead of supporting DSA spend their time displaying their ignorance of the industry and pointing accusing fingers at LBA on a daily basis, as though it were LBA that killed off DSA. It wasn't. If it was any airport, it was MAN. DSA took TUi and Flybe off LBA, but still failed whilst LBA still grew. That is something the DSA keyboard warriors don't like to see.

I think you will find that I am not alone with my annoyance. Don't mistake my comments as being anti DSA. I doubt it will reopen anyway and if it does, it wont make much difference to LBA. I do however reserve the right, occasionally, to 'have a go' back where it's deserved.

Heads Up!

i must be a lunatic. Friday 25th Sept will see me doing a daytrip that involves me leaving my flat in Manchester at 1am and not getting back home until after midnight. All because I'm doing a Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands trip.... out of Glasgow
For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
