The Jersey route looks to be scrapped after looking on their website there’s no flights available. @Jerry has pointed this out on the Wizz Cardiff thread as there’s nothing available for CWL either.

I wonder if they will quickly launch something to mainland Europe instead.

Lets hope so or they might bring a flight forward for example PMI isn't due to start till September.

Funny you say that as I believe it did have something to with PMI flights. Also believe with England being on Jerseys red list that could be another factor.

Could do as on Twitter they are saying that it could be to with PMI and with that being on the green list they might focus their attention on flights there as Jersey has put England on the red list.

Interesting question: they could expand lots maybe to Egyptian resorts such as Hurghada, Sharm El Sheik and maybe even flights to Adu-Dhabi using Wizz Abu Dhabi.

Apparently Wizz Air are to close their Riga base.

I wonder if are flights will now be done with Wizz UK or if it’ll be a rotation.

I’ve heard that the Riga route will be either done by a Wizz Uk plane or an aircraft on a W-route from Doncaster so the Riga route appears to be staying.

Flights to Riga appear bookable until the end of October 2022 at 3 weekly flights so it looks like the DSA-RIX is safe from the RIX base closure and will use either a Wizz UK plane or a W-Leg plane.
