It actually already had one but it was a few pages back. I've merged them together now.

Can you move my SQ ad post or should I just delete and re-write? This is clearly the place for it to be!

Manchester's twitter feed does some great advertising.

Here they are clearly advertising SFO and the fact that we have TWO carriers on the route!
'What will you discover in San Francisco? Silicon Valley, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz...the list goes on!'

They also posted the following to celebrate Austrian's first anniversary:

'Happy 1st Anniversary @_austrian -In celebration fly to Vienna & enjoy all the cultural wonder!'

SQ advertising their MAN-IAH route on the homepage of the UK site.
'Experience the great American outback. Fly direct from Manchester-Houston'

Great, although perhaps they should put a bit more effort into advertising 'Fly direct from Manchester to Singapore'...

MAG believe that MAN will continue to see growth in even in a worst-case BREXIT scenario. They aren't complacent, but they continue to plan for growth. The weak level of the pound on foreign exchanges strongly affects MAN as the majority of this airport's pax are UK-domiciled. However, they do recognise the opportunity to target inbound tourists for whom holidays to the UK are a bargain right now. To this end, MAG has been entering into joint-promotions with operators and supporting these initiatives with cash in some cases. The MAN-PEK route was cited as an example where considerable effort has been put into attracting inbound tourism.

Info provided by MAG's Rad Taylor during his presentation to TAS earlier this evening.

Manchester have been doing a '#MANCSGIVING' contest, showcasing all the US destinations served from MAN.

Heads Up!

i must be a lunatic. Friday 25th Sept will see me doing a daytrip that involves me leaving my flat in Manchester at 1am and not getting back home until after midnight. All because I'm doing a Loch Ness and Scottish Highlands trip.... out of Glasgow
For some weird reason, my days off work tend to involve being out of my flat by 5am and not getting back until 10pm. Back to work and the regular "fix" of 7.40am to 7.15pm hours
Heatwave Mk2 next week?
Some explosive weather build-ups currently in the North of England. What is it like where you are?
LBA: B737-300 G-GDFK empty down to Paris at 16:15 to operate the return LS268 back to Leeds 20:00 ETA where it will then operate the delayed LS265 to Malaga 20:40ETD
